Leire has a degree in English philology from the University of La Rioja, with studies in legal translation, a diploma in integrated event organisation, Communication and Media Studies from the Complutense University of Madrid and an expert in emotional intelligence from the UNIR.

Her professional life began as a wine tourism and public relations technician at Bodegas Pagos de Leza, writing press releases, giving guided tours of wineries and organising promotional events.

For a short period of time she was a freelance English teacher and then took up a position at Bodegas Baigorri, a winery dedicated to wine tourism and communication.

She later became founder and co-owner of ALGusto Talleres de Cocina until the present day. She combines this with her job as events manager for Franco Españolas wineries.
